Kamen Rider 1 through Skyrider

The Scarves

Starting with Kamen Rider 1 it was traditional for each Kamen Rider to wear a scarf (Kamen Rider V3 & Skyrider wore two). This tradition was broken in 1987 by Kamen Rider Black.

      Rider      Scarf
  1.  Kamen Rider One       red
  2.  Kamen Rider Two       red
  3.  Kamen Rider V3       white (2)
  4.  Riderman       yellow
  5.  Kamen Rider X       Black and yellow with red X
  6.  Kamen Rider Amazon       white
  7.  Kamen Rider Stronger       white
       Electro-Magnetic Wave Human Tackle       yellow
  8.  Skyrider       red (2)
  9.  Kamen Rider Super-1       red
10.  Kamen Rider ZX       green
11.  Kamen Rider Black       none
12.  Kamen Rider Black RX       none
13.  Shin Kamen Rider       none
14.  Kamen Rider ZO       none
15.  Kamen Rider J       none
16.  Kamen Rider Kuuga       none

It's probably a coinsidence but I think the best Kamen Rider series involved those who wore a scarf (or two).

Kamen Rider Deaths

This page is dedicated to Ishinomori, Shoutarou's "Champions of Justice", the original 15 Kamen Riders. Ishinomori, Shoutarou died January 28, 1998 and although there were series with "Kamen Rider" in the title produced after this date, they were produced without him and most have straid from his vision. These new characters are not the "Champions of Justice" he imagined and I love. As far as I am concered the Kamen Rider series has come to an end. Saynara Kamen Rider.
