Yongary

Yongary: Monster from the Deep (1967) was a South Korean movie, a co-production between Keukdong Entertainment Company and Toei Company.

The South Korean military has deticed an atomic blast in "the Middle East" and sends a rocket up to monitor the situation. This bomb test causes an earthquake which moves unnaturally towards Korea, Bursting from the ground in North Korea and moving south is the giant monster Yongary.

Yongary

Yongary breathed fire, drank oil and gasoline and was strenghed by heat so naturally the South Korean military shot missiles at it. South Korea is saved by a boy and a scientist who realized the monsters weakness was cold and a chemical that could reduce its body temperature.
