Jiro sits alone, dreaming of playing his guitar for Mitsuko and Masaru, until he remembers that he no longer has his guitar. Even that has been lost to him. And so ends "The Boy Who Carried a Guitar: Kikaida vs. Inazuman" the final episode of the animated Kikaida series.

There are a number of differences between the 1970s live action Inazuman television series and this anime. The major differences are:

(1) In the live action series the character is named Watari, Goro not Kazeta, Saburu aka Sabu, and he is a college student not a high school student.

(2) In the live action series Inazuman's psionic abilities are greatly reduced so that he actually has to punch and kick the evil mutants. Watari, Goro doesn't exhibit any strange powers at all.

(3 Inazuman doesn't generate lighting bolts in the original live action Inazuman series, that doesn't happen until Inazuman Flash, when he's fighting evil robots which are harder to destroy than mutants, and then he only does it as a last resort.

(4) Inazuman has a flying car, Raijingo, in the live action series.

(5) Jiro/Kikaida never appears in Inazuman, probably because Jiro and Watari, Goro are both played by Ban, Daisuke.
