Chôjinki Metalder Action Figures
Metalder & Springer - Bandai
Bandai action figures. Metalder's arms and legs bend, head turns. Metalder is about 3 inches tall. Springer has no moveable parts. I bought these two from somebody on ebay. As you can see they came in an unopened box.
Side Phantom - Bandai
Don't let the pictures on the box fool you, Metalder is sold seperatly.
The sidecar which actually larger then the motorcycle is detachable, just like in the series (the sidecar could drive itself which allowed Metalder to send passangers to safety while he fought the bad guys or he could have the side car crash into the bad guys). The English "Metalder" (Japanese is Metaldaa) and "Side Phantom" are correct, that's how they were in the series -- the Japanese showing their fascination with the English language again.
This toy came with 12 stickers which I had to put on myself, you can probably see where I had some trouble getting the stickers straight and centered. One sticker which you can't see kept falling off. Somebody at Bandai must have thought kids would have fun putting the stickers on. I'm not a kid and it wasn't fun at all.
Purchased from Kimono My House. They told me this was their last one.
Kurugin - Bandai
Coolgin (Kurugin) Chief of the Neross Cyborg Army and second of command of Neross Empire
Top Gunder - Bandai
Top Gunder, Neross Empire member who switched sides
Metalder
This figure's 15 inches tall, too big for my scanner so his legs got jump off in this scan. The picture has also been reduced so it would fit on the screen.
